Cubbie for Claude ("Cubbie") is a browser extension that adds folders, tabs and themes to claude.ai. It is made by Michał Włosik, a sole trader based in Wrocław, Poland, who is the data controller for the little data Cubbie handles. Cubbie is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic.

The short version: Cubbie runs in your browser, keeps your folders and settings in your own Chrome storage, and sends nothing to us. We have no servers that receive your chats, and we don't use analytics or tracking.

What Cubbie reads

To organize your chats, Cubbie reads your claude.ai chat list (chat titles, ids and timestamps), your projects and your scheduled tasks, using the same requests claude.ai makes for its own pages while you are signed in. It also checks whether Claude is currently replying in a chat so it can show the "working" light. These requests go only from your browser to claude.ai.

Cubbie does not read, copy or send the contents of your conversations, your files or your artifacts anywhere.

What Cubbie stores, and where

  • Your folders, tabs, Trash, rules and settings are saved in your browser with Chrome's extension storage. A copy is kept in Chrome sync (your own Chrome account) so they follow you to other computers where you use the same Chrome profile. We cannot see this data.
  • Your Pro license, if you buy one: the license key and its activation id are saved in your browser's local extension storage.

Removing Cubbie from Chrome deletes its local data. To remove the synced copy as well, clear Cubbie's data from Settings, Your data before uninstalling, or clear synced data in your Chrome settings.

Pro licenses and payments

Payments are handled by Polar (Polar Software Inc.), which acts as merchant of record and processes your payment details, email address and billing information under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address, what you bought and your license key from Polar so we can support you. We never see your card details.

When you activate, check or deactivate a license, Cubbie sends the license key and a device label such as "Cubbie · Chrome on Windows" to Polar's license API (api.polar.sh). Nothing else is sent.

Notifications

If you turn on notifications (Pro), Cubbie uses Chrome's notification feature to tell you when Claude finishes a reply or a scheduled task fails. Notifications are created on your device; nothing is sent to us.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell, rent or share your data.
  • We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking in the extension.
  • We don't use your data for anything other than running Cubbie's features.
  • We don't transfer your data to third parties, except Polar for payments and licenses as described above.

Cubbie's use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Emails you send us

If you email support, we keep the conversation so we can help you and refer back to it later. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

This website

This site runs on Ghost. It doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, UK or a similar jurisdiction, you have the right to access, correct, delete or export the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its use, and to complain to your data protection authority (in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO). The legal basis for handling your purchase and support data is the contract with you and our legitimate interest in supporting the product. To make a request, email michal.wlosik@gmail.com.

Children

Cubbie is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change how Cubbie handles data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted in the extension's release notes.
